DARROZE 1943 LASSERADE VINTAGE

Brown color with lighter hue. On the nose, the torrefaction and matur flavors are dominant showing dried fruits, cocoa, licorice and leather. Very complex. On the palate, the attack is soft, with silky and full tannins. Very rich and complex flavors. Quite long. The Chateau de Lasserade property rests on the boundary of Haut Armagnac, Bas Armagnac and Tenareze. The soil is sand and clay; the grape, Bacco, and the Armagnac - incredible! Bottled in 1995.
